IM NeuroSpeech & Swallow Solutions LLC provides expert therapy for swallowing, motor speech, cognitive-communication, and voice disorders in South Florida. Owned by Isabel Melendez, M.S. CCC-SLP, a medical speech-language pathologist with over 19 years of experience working in hospitals, rehab centers, home health, and skilled nursing facilities. Isabel is a skilled endoscopist, performing instrumental assessments of swallowing function to create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans for patients with dysphagia. She has completed clinical training and certification in neuromuscular electrical stimulation (VitalStim) for dysphagia rehabilitation. Isabel was recognized with an ASHA Award for Continuing Education (ACE) in May of 2018. She has experience treating medically complex patients after stroke recovery, tracheostomy, head and neck cancers, and with neurological conditions. Areas of treatment include aphasia, dysphagia, dysarthria, apraxia, cognitive deficits, and voice disorders. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus, where she graduated with highest honors in 2005, and completed her ASHA clinical fellowship at the VA Caribbean Health System.

Accepting Medicare Part B

A physician’s referral is required for a SLP evaluation. Once a referral is obtained, contact us to schedule your appointment.

Private pay available

We offer Superbills that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. In addition, we accept FSA and HSA cards for payment, and we are actively working to become in-network with major insurance plans to make our services even more accessible.
